HOW DOES EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION WORK?
External wall insulation works by fixing a layer of insulating material to the outside of your home, which is then covered with a protective finish like render or dash. This helps keep heat inside during winter and outside during summer, making your home more comfortable and energy efficient. After the work is done, the exterior of your home will also look fresh and modern, improving its overall appearance.

Receive Quotation - we’ll provide a quotation outlining the required works for your home.

Apply for the SEAI Grant - accept the quotation and apply for the SEAI grant at www.seai.ie. Select BlueBuild Renewables as your chosen contractor for External Wall Insulation.

Wait for SEAI Approval

Installation of Works - upon approval, BlueBuild Renewables will carry out the agreed works within the 8-month timeframe allocated by the SEAI.

Final Sign-Off and Grant Payment - after the project is completed, SEAI will provide forms that both you and BlueBuild Renewables will sign off, and the grant will then be paid directly to you, the homeowner by SEAI.
